Sansin Foundation is a high-performance, penetrating base coat designed to stabilize and protect wood during the construction phase while dramatically enhancing the performance of topcoat finishes. Ideal for both interior and exterior applications, Foundation penetrates deeply into wood fibers, forming a monolithic bond that increases dimensional stability and reduces checking, warping, and movement.

This breathable, water-based formula offers up to 6 months of UV protection without color additives, making it perfect for light wood tones where red, yellow, or brown hues are undesirable. Available in Fir, Cedar, and Light Wood tones, Sansin Foundation is compatible with Sansin SDF and Classic systems and can be applied to wood with moisture content up to 25%.
