With an egg-shell finish, Tough Prime Black offers a rich, low-sheen surface that’s easy to light and clean, while minimizing glare. It applies smoothly with brush, roller, or spray, and dries quickly to the touch in 30–45 minutes, allowing for efficient layering and fast turnaround.

Whether you're prepping a set for film, theatre, or themed environments, Tough Prime Black ensures excellent adhesion and compatibility with Rosco Scenic Paints and most other water- or solvent-based coatings. It can also be tinted using Rosco Supersaturated Scenic Paints for custom base tones.
