Offered in both Flat and Gloss finishes, this water-based vinyl acrylic glaze provides a durable topcoat that resists wear and tear while maintaining the flexibility of scenic treatments.

Used as a protective layer, Rosco Clear Acrylic Glaze shields painted scenery from incidental abuse and environmental factors. It can also be mixed into scenic paints to improve adhesion, flexibility, and scratch resistance—especially useful when working with weaker binders like casein or tempera.

Rosco Clear Acrylic Glaze is compatible with all Rosco Scenic Paints and many other water-based or latex formulations. It dries clear, though it appears milky when wet, and should always be diluted 1:1 with water to prevent clouding. Application is easy with brush, roller, or spray, and multiple thin coats can be layered for added durability.
