Powered by a robust 12 AMP motor, this saw offers variable speed control from 2,000 to 5,200 RPM, maintaining consistent speed under load for smooth, splinter-free cuts.

Designed for cabinetry, flooring, trim work, and sheet material cutting, the SP6000J features a large cutting capacity of 2-3/16" at 90° and 1-9/16" at 45°, with bevel capability from -1° to 48° and positive stops at 22.5° and 45°. Its magnesium components keep the tool lightweight at just 9.7 lbs, while the ergonomic rubberized grip and plunge release lever enhance comfort and control.

Compatible with Makita’s guide rail system (sold separately), this saw enables dead-on straight or bevel cuts with minimal tear-out. Additional features include an electric brake, built-in depth stop for preliminary scoring cuts, and a dust port for vacuum connectivity.
