Kryton Krytonite™ Swelling Waterstop

Krytonite™ Swelling Waterstop is a high-performance synthetic rubber waterstop engineered to seal concrete construction joints with unmatched swelling pressure. Designed to outperform bentonite and PVC alternatives, Krytonite swells up to 1000% in clean water and maintains integrity even in salt, sulfate, and chloride-contaminated environments

Its innovative trapezoid shape resists dislodgement and promotes superior concrete consolidation, while controlled swelling ensures proper concrete strength development before expansion begins. Krytonite is extremely durable, flexible, and resistant to repeated wet-dry cycles, making it ideal for static construction joints, pipe penetrations, precast elements, and shotcrete cold joints.

Available in standard (yellow) and rain-protected (blue) versions, Krytonite is easy to install with Krytonite Adhesive and can be used alone or as part of Kryton’s Krystol Waterstop System for single, double, or triple protection. It is certified to resist hydrostatic pressure up to 0.8 MPa (265 ft) and is safe for potable water applications
