Kryton Krystol Waterstop Treatment™

Krystol Waterstop Treatment™ is a cementitious crystalline slurry designed to permanently waterproof concrete construction joints. Applied to horizontal and vertical joints, it penetrates deeply into the concrete surface, reacting with moisture and unhydrated cement particles to form insoluble crystals that block water pathways and seal micro-cracks.

This treatment is part of Kryton’s proven Krystol Waterstop System and is ideal for static concrete-to-concrete joints, cold joints in shotcrete, and crack control joints. It offers long-term protection against water ingress, corrosion, and chemical attack—even under hydrostatic pressure. Once hardened, it’s resistant to rain and foot traffic, and its distinctive yellow color ensures easy visual inspection and quality control.

Certified to NSF/ANSI Standard 61, Krystol Waterstop Treatment is safe for potable water contact and contributes to sustainable construction by eliminating the need for external membranes. It’s easy to apply, durable, and remains active throughout the life of the concrete, reactivating whenever moisture is present.
