Kryton Krystol Waterstop Grout™

Krystol Waterstop Grout™ is a high-performance crystalline grout designed to permanently waterproof static concrete-to-concrete joints, pipe penetrations, tie holes, and control joints. As part of the Krystol Waterstop System, it uses Kryton’s proprietary Krystol® technology to chemically react with water and unhydrated cement particles, forming insoluble crystals that block water pathways and seal micro-cracks.

This grout is non-shrink, crack-resistant, and self-sealing—ideal for both internal and external applications. It offers superior resistance to hydrostatic pressure (up to 140 meters), sulfates, chlorides, H₂S, freeze-thaw cycles, and alkali-silica reaction (ASR). Certified to NSF/ANSI Standard 61, it’s safe for potable water contact and contains no corrosive chlorides.

Krystol Waterstop Grout is pre-blended for easy use, has high bond strength, and allows flexible scheduling—concrete can be placed and keyways filled days or weeks later. By eliminating the need for external membranes, it supports sustainable construction and reduces long-term maintenance costs.
