Kryton Krystol T1® Concrete Waterproofing

Krystol T1® Concrete Waterproofing is a surface-applied crystalline slurry treatment that transforms concrete into a permanent, self-sealing waterproof barrier. Powered by Kryton’s advanced Krystol® technology, it chemically reacts with water and unhydrated cement particles to form insoluble needle-shaped crystals that block capillary pores and micro-cracks. This ensures long-term protection against water ingress—even under hydrostatic pressure up to 140 meters (460 feet).

Ideal for both new and existing concrete, Krystol T1 can be applied on the positive or negative side of water pressure, making it versatile for foundations, basements, tunnels, marine structures, and water containment systems. It self-seals hairline cracks up to 0.5 mm, resists aggressive chemicals, sulfates, chlorides, and H₂S environments, and withstands freeze-thaw cycles and alkali-silica reaction (ASR).

Certified for potable water use (NSF/ANSI Standard 61), Krystol T1 is non-toxic, zero-VOC, and contributes to LEED credits. It allows concrete to breathe, is UV-stable, and remains effective even after mechanical removal.
