How to Create the Knockdown Finish

According to DAP instructions:

1. Spray the orange‑peel base onto the surface.
2. Allow the texture to set:
   • Fine: knock down immediately
   • Medium: wait 30 seconds–1 minute
   • Heavy: wait 1–2 minutes
     
3. Hold a putty knife parallel to the surface and lightly flatten the droplets.
4. Dip the knife in water between passes to prevent sticking.
